The elegantly rounded MDF case with its elaborate struts and varnished 25 mm acoustic baffle constitute the strong foundation for high-strength aluminium-ceramic cones and the lightweight dome made of synthetic silk with redesigned horn flare.The Quantum 677 is available with a black and mocha-coloured corpus, the baffle on both versions possesses a black piano-lacquer finish. Two bass loudspeakers and one mid-range loudspeaker with a diameter of 170 mm in conjunction with Magnats proven ceramic-aluminium sandwich cone in streamlined baskets made from carbon-fibre-reinforced ABS are responsible for highly precise sound and harmonious transitions to the dynamic second-generation RHsilk dome.
